Failed after 8 months! Cheap and unreliable.
4 of 4 found this helpful Bought in June, failed before March. Light occasional DIY use. The metal valve assembly has cracked where the outlet fittings screw in, and also the 'brass' fitting where air goes into the tank has cracked. Air leaks out rapidly. It's made from 'monkey metal' and doesn't look like it can be repaired.
I had my old Clarke compressor over 25 years before I decided to 'upgrade' to this. Big mistake!

Not as good as mealworms - animals don't like them as much
We bought these as an alternative to the usual mealworms for hedgehogs and wild birds. Two issues - the creatures don't like them as much (hedgehogs go mad for mealworms but generally leave these) and they have a lot of dust leaving a mess. We have wasted a lot. Would not buy again.

Fixes poor remote range
The remote receiver on my LandRover Discovery Td5 failed - the remotes would only lock/unlock the car if next to the roof windows. The unit is fixed to the roof, behind the headlining on Discoverys - you have to remove the rear trims and drop the headlining to get at it (or maybe via rear sunroof trim if you have one). I figure condensation gets to these (my roof was dripping wet). Swapping the unit from a breakers fixed the issue - remotes now work yards away again and saved compared to the new price of about £60 or more. Also fits certain Rover and MG models.
