Solid State, i5, 8gb mini PC
The equivalent new computer new is pushing $800. The machine has DD4 RAM, G1s have DDR3. I'm discarding the mechanical drive in favor of SSD. This makes a very responsive machine for office use. I also prefer doing maintenance on machines with SSD, saves time on reboot.

Entry level device is easy to administer and work very well
The documentation covering the management options such as Unleashed was difficult to find and understand. Matching firmware versions with documentation was also difficult.
The Ruckus product guide is very helpful in determining what hardware features are available in each product. The documentation is important in that it will tell you that the R310 cannot be used in the Ruckus 'mesh' configuration. The documentation is also gives very explicit direction about how the WAP(s) should be mounted (ceiling/wall etc.).
Product is 5 star because the R310 device is easy to add to existing Rufus waps. Administration was straightforward and our R310s are serving about 50 clients without any problems at all.

Lightweight adapter passed tests under light load
I handle hardware issues at my company. I am concerned that the device is much lighter than the OEM units from ASUS, HP etc.
So of course I tested it. The laptop started with this adapter without any hardware complaint. Once logged into Windows 10 I started a light load by streaming HD youtube. The adapter seemed to work perfectly fine under these conditions and I have it on the shelf now, ready to deploy.
