A little QC might help
Out of the 7 of these I have purchased and and 4 that I have used, 3 have had a problem. The board that transfers the signal from the connectors to the coils and wiper has had a problem on two of them and I have no idea why the first one decided to just go erratic. I continue to use them because of space constraints and the lower cost.

Time to build
The 555 has been around a very long time. I am currently using a couple of the chips in circuits and they offer no problems. If you need 555 times, this is a good place to buy them. They are shipped in a manner that insures they arrive without damage. A quality product, a good value, and protections on the way to the customer.
