Nice power supply

Seems to work well. Larger tinned leads have to be cut to raw copper to fit under the connection screws.

wire size is too small.

The information on this plug and wire assembly indicates it is suitable for use with an Icom-IC-V8000. I have that radio and it says you should have a minimum of a 15 amp source with 20 amp fuzes. This cable assembly is 14 guage wire and I'm not sure of the fuze size, but normally it takes a minimum of a 12 guage wire to carry 15+ amps and not have voltage drop. The assembly that came with my radio is 12 guage and I wanted the same thing to have more than one location to plug in the radio.
