You really need the specific Campagnolo tool to fit.
Narrow 10 speed Campagnolo chains come with a rivet (link pin) and a guide pin, unless you have the very expensive and specific Campagnolo tool (chain breaker) it is almost impossible to get the pin in without breaking the guide pin off. The specific Campagnolo tool costs £150+. So unless you have the tool it is best to use a KMC extra link, dead easy. The chain is koay once you have the KMC link.
