ROY BUCHANAN - guitar virtuoso. One of the all-time best at his craft!
I was a huge fan of Roy's "A Street Called Straight" album when it first came out in 1976. Since buying the CD three weeks ago, it is the only CD I've played. Also on the CD is Roy's live album from 1975, which I had never heard or heard of. Wow! All seven songs are my new favorites. Roy was such a great guitar played, and so very underrated. I was sad to learn of his death and the questionable circumstances surrounding his passing (at a relatively young age).

Pink Floyd - PULSE
Pink Floyd is perhaps the best band to see in person. The concert features some of their most iconic songs. The lighting and special effects are first rate. The concert, which is on Disc 1, is 2 hours and 24 minutes long. Years ago, I had the LaserDisc version of the performance. Too much time has passed to discern any differences, but the restored audio is as what one might expect from Pink Floyd - as good as it can be. The 60-page booklet is supreme. Just wish it were album size! Disc 2 contains Bonus Features and interviews which I haven't watched yet; but, at a minimum, I expect they will be entertaining. I am very glad I made the purchase. Great concert at any price!

Worthy of its subject
This is one of the two best books written about Disneyland ("Disneyland: The Nickel Tour" is the other). Full of great information and seldom-seen photographs!
