Great value

Braun MQ777 Multiquick 7 Hand Blender, Black NIB

Bulky, heavy, terribly designed for storage. Great variable speed feature

I owned an older version of this Braun Hand Blender. it stopped working after more than 15 years of continued use. I loved it, It was compact, powerful, versatile and very easy to use; simple to attach/detach tools, with 2 speeds, very high and not so high. This new version is definitively more powerful, but also more complicated and good for people that have LOTS of storage space in their kitchen. The concept is the same, but now there are 2 different long connectors, which you need for attaching depending on the tool you will use. Why?, it seems completely unnecessary. The motor itself is much heavier (2x) and longer (33% more), bigger overall. One would expect that 20 years later they would have made it more compact and powerful, but it seems like technology went the opposite way here. Then there is the Slicer/Shredder attachment. It has multiple plates which are great, but, unbelievably, you can't store them inside the container (which by the way is also much, much bigger that the prior one) when not in use, due to the terrible design, so you need to store them separately. You basically need a whole cabinet to store this Hand Blender and its attachments, which is at least double, or more, the space needed for their prior model. Its a shame that Braun did not consider the importance of efficient storage space in their design. Using it is also not that easy anymore. Removing the attachment tools (which used to be as simple as twisting and pulling apart) now requires pressing 2 buttons on the side of the connectors simultaneously, which is a bummer and a total overkill when your hands are full in the kitchen. I do love, though, the variable speed feature. The harder you press, the faster it goes, but frankly, I don't see it necessary for it to be bulkier, heavier, complicated, terribly designed for storing and to require different connectors and clicks to detach them. Given the option, I would have kept the older one, but sadly it died on me.

A family Favorite

This is my favorite security and anti-virus system. I've tried multiple brands and types over the years and have always come back to Norton. This one is even better since with 10 licenses I can cover all CellPhones too. It's easy for everyone to download and install and you can control everything from a centralized account.
