Smells nice, but not like bay rum.
This product smells nice, but, it does not smell like bay rum. It is a soft, candy/vanilla scent, without the spice, or bite of classic bay rum. If you are seeking a classic bay rum scent, this is not it.

Bad news: it stinks. Good news: it doesn't last very long.

Go to the cupboard, get a shaker of clove, put a tablespoon of it on a smooth surface, use a straight edged item (razor blade, credit card etc) and form the clove powder into a line. Use a straw, or, a rolled up banknote, and, snort the clove up both nostrils. THAT is how you can accurately describe the stench of this stuff. It doesn't smell like bay rum, "BAY" and, or, "RUM", at all. Just clove.
Don't worry though, you will smell like your old un-clove drenched self in about twenty minutes or so. The scent doesn't fade, or, mellow. It disappears completely, like you washed it off.
To recap:
1) it doesn't smell like any bay rum I remember. Doesn't even smell like the basic ingredients of BAY RUM. The only thing you will smell clove.
2) the scent completely disappears after 20 minutes.
Summary: total waste of money. Of you want to.smell lkke this, go to the spice aisle of the grocery store, buy a shaker of clove, go nuts. It will last longer, and, be cheaper.
