Item was described as an original carte de visite photograph of Abraham Lincoln taken by Matthew Brady in 1860; however, it is actually a photograph of a Brady original that was produced around the turn of the century by Boston photographer James E. Purdy, who opened his Boston photography studio in 1896. I understood this origin before I placed my bid and am pleased with the item.
It was well packaged--fast shipment.

Thanks for the feedback. My description of the photo was an exact copy of the description given by the museum who sold it originally. I am happy you are satisfied and thanks again for the clarification.
