04 WRX ported TD04 and the Voodoo controller
Pretty simple and short easy to adjust but each full turn is about 1 psi with smaller turbos so it took awhile to get it up to 19 psi. After around 4 or 5 tries it was dailed in.
This style boost controller is awesome when you combine it with a proper tune and ideally a boost gauge and wideband AFR. The car is running a Cobb stage 2 off the shelf map and after turning the boost up the cars afr is right around 11.9 which is spot on.
The benefits to this controller vs other bleed types is this does not allow boost loss on smaller turbos. Bleed types lose boost by allowing some to bypass the line. Those work great for larger turboes with plenty of flow to spare but for smaller turboes this kills their higher end efficiency and drops boost off substantially before redline hit. With the voodoo this allows me to punch 18psi to redline even in 4th or 5th gear.
Keep in mind turning the boost up is dangerous and without the proper knowledge you can easily damage a motor.
If you know what you are doing well have fun. It's amazing how much 5 psi can do to TBE and high flow intake car.

The Apex trigger for the SD series is an absolute must!
Apex trigger for the SD series is an absolute must! This mod took 15 minutes to knock out watching a video. Matched this up with the spring kit. Safety on trigger needs light filing that is completely adjustable based on finget size. Bigger figgers require absolutely zero filing. It really is extremely easy and takes caveman skills to install.

It is a fully funtional xbox with everything you need for under 150 bucks!
It reads discs exactly how it should and saved me alot of money on newer ones...
This unit also has the HDMI plug in which uses one cable to do EVERYTHING!!! Its 100x better then those Red blue green plugs!
