Radio amateur?
This set top box of Chinese manufacture tunes Amateur (Ham) TV DVB-T signals in our 70cm. band, whereas most commercial receivers will NOT.
A small trick is necessary, and all it entails is leaving the "country" set for GHANA, which it seems to come with as its default setting. Use a manual tune, punch in your frequency via the remote control. Just ensure the signal is on air before you "scan" for it, and it will store in memory (allocating ch. 1 if you don't have other commercial channels already in memory, or allocating the next highest number in memory if you previously scanned the commercials).
Criticisms? It is sold as a "generic" or "unbranded" set top box, the possibility of there being any USB update files of software seems remote, but there has been no need.
It does not have H.264 MPEG- 4 sound capabilities, so although it tunes commercial HD picture content, they do not have sound. Not a problem for ham signals or SD commercial channels, or earlier HD channels.
If you also want to use it to tune commercial local TV channels, change the "country" for yours, and do an auto scan. Then, change "country" back to Ghana, and do the manual tune for 70cm. Your local settings will remain.
The first of these I bought was actually installed at one of our TV repeater sites as a receiver for input DVB-S signals on 23cm., which was tuned in a simple search. It has performed well in this role with a good preamplifier ahead of it. Of course, a preamplifier may also be necessary to receive low power ham DVB transmissions direct or via repeaters, but that is not unusual.
The "quality" display sliding scale seems to hang lowish, unlike my previous receiver, which showed invariably a 97% report, but that does not seem to affect picture quality. It could be misleading. However, the "signal strength" indicates quite high, my previous receiver showed a signal strength only about 37% at my very poor location. But no apparent problems with picture quality.
It features HDMI or CVBS outputs, also component video, however some possibly later production units no longer have the component outputs. It has a "real" power off switch on the rear panel.
It comes with your choice of a European or British power plug (no mains low voltage adapter!), I just get the European one, cut it off and substitute an Australian one. The suppliers tend to send an adapter for Australia, but they are usually poor quality and do not meet Australian specifications. I recommend replacing the plug if necessary for your country. Be careful, the power lead has very fine conductors. I used several foldings in the bared ends of the conductors, and ensured the strain relief was as good as possible to keep the strain off those conductors.
The front panel has a USB 2 socket, so with a USB thumb drive or FAT formatted hard drive, it can be used to record off air as a PVR, or used as a media player for many common file types. It records in .TS format, and these files are not specific just to this STB, and can be played on a computer or another player that will accept .TS.
All in all, I believe they are good value. Hopefully, they will remain available for some time yet.

Happy grandson!
Our 2 year- old grandson loves to play with the over- 30- year- old Tomy Thomas engines, tracks and rolling stock he was given by a great aunt. One of the engines is Spencer, and he loves Spencer!
Unfortunately Spencer is very heavy on battery power, and will not run long before the battery is going flat, unlike all the other engines that will happily run all day on a single AA battery. So I sought a replacement, and it arrived in time for Christmas 2016. The grandson was delighted!
Subsequently, Spencer went to work hauling 13 carriages, and as hoped, the battery life is now as good as the rest of the old engines.
The old Spencer was quickly retired from service, I was tired of wasting batteries on it.

Compact and useful.
This little unit does for me just what I needed of it, and that is to test antennas between 1200 and 2600 mHz.
The use of the rotary encoder makes it a bit slow to set up, but it certainly keeps it compact.
It is small and light, its metal case is protective and practical. It came well packed to avoid transit damage, something I worry about when it has to come some distance via a mail carrier.
The manual in English is a little hard to follow due to translation, but at least is far better than many translated Chinese manuals tend to be.
