A better way to clean the carpet
Previously I have hired a Rug doctor carpet cleaning machine to shampoo the carpets. But in comparison to this new Vax design, it is inferior. The Vax machine is easier to use, convenient, cheaper to use, easier to manoeuvre around the house and does a comparable if not better carpet clean. The Vax carpet cleaning fluid is also cheaper. So if you buy a Vax from Direct Vacuum's for what I paid, which was £101, by the time you have cleaned 3 rooms you have beaten on price hiring the rug doctor. And then you own the Vax for future cleans. All in all this is a super easy to use and very convenient carpet cleaner. One point I would make and that is I would not have the same opinion if I had spent £399 on it. Yes it would still be the same in use, but not as good value. So shop around and ensure you get one for £101 and you will have a proper bargain.

HTC HD2 mobile phone
The phones screen is as good as the iphones screen, but bigger. It also runs Windows mobile 6.5 so you can put all the windows applications onto it as well. It's a solid quality phone which has a good feel to it. It's also quick, quicker than the iphone and is easier to use with other computers whereas the iphone blocks everything else out.
The bad bits. Music is not as good as the iphone and the windows music player software is clunky. You can adjust the equalizer and after 2 minutes it goes back to what it was. Not a lot of applications yet, so it's limited. Apple support is far better than HTC support which is almost useless. Battery life is appealing unless you go and bbuy a 1500 milli amp battery and even then it's only average. Texting is also slower than the iphone as the software is poor and the recognition is the same.
Overall it's a good phone which many people will like as it does a lot more, but the iphone although limited is a better phone. I just cannot put up with Apple's restrictions, otherwise I'd go straight back to the iphone.
