Ready when you are
This is my second light. I want one to keep in my car and as a back up should my work one get lost or broken. (broken? that would be hard)
It is larger than many and not as bright as some. But it fits in the pockets I use (wthout getting lost in them) and is bright enough, without being blinding for my uses ( night visual inspections of vehicles and repairs in dark tight spots). The AAA battery size makes it slimer than those that use CR123 batteries or AA.
It is durable and easy to use, push in the tailpiece button and it's on, Duh.
But the USB recharge is the really cool part. No longer do you have to worry about dim light output due to low batteries (batteries just not weak enough to throw away, and the power loss is subtle) just plug it in when you feel like it, and where can't you plug in an micro USB cord these days.
But for some reason you can't recharge it, AAA batteries work.

Nice to have it you phone goes everywhere.
This the third of these cases I have gotten over the years. The second case was a warrenty replacment. While not being the absolute best protection from drops on hard surfaces as others (my phone suffered a broken screen connection from a four foot drop on edge on concrete) it does well, especially if you go where your phone getting rained on or dropped in liquids is possible. But it is reasonably small, you can put in many pants phone pockets or get a belt pouch that it will fit into that is much more secure than belt clips other cases use. The charging port door is the weakest point as it tends to break over time but many people upgrade to newer phones before that will happen.
