it worked very well on the trail.
the Komp Ridgehiker Cork proved to be solid and reliable. the quick locks for length change were much better (and quicker) than the other X brand that had twist locks. the carbide tips proved solid and held up well in the rocky trail. only 5 days hiking and no problems. much appreciated quality and price point.
