Krone jacks

I have used these Krone jacks for over 20 years. It is rare to find one that fails. These IDC style jacks are designed differently from others in that the IDC contacts are set at an angle to each other instead of the usual straight across design. I am not certain but I think Krone and ADC are now the same company. I do not know if ADC retained the same design but I will buy these every chance I get rather than anything else on the market.

Overview BCM50

The BCM50 is a good small business system. What many people may not realize when shopping online is that the basic system is equipped to do nothing. Avaya/ Nortel enable these systems with keycodes. Without these codes you are left with a box that lights up but does nothing. The end of life time frame for Avaya support is 2018 unless something has changed. However, support through 3rd party vendors is likely to last for many years to come based on the number of these units in service. Bottom line: great units but you need to know what you are buying.

Water pump

This is not a high volume pump but it is very reliable. I use mine to pump water from a large pond to a waterfall on a smaller pond. It runs continuously for about 12 hours daily and each pump with this kind of use has a life span of about three years. They are not designed for this kind of work but it works very well for the price.
