Best bang for the buck in SAS controllers

This product is the best bang for the buck in SAS controllers. It is configured in IT mode which is perfect for controlling JBOD. I'm using this for access to 30 SATA disks (8TB &10TB) on two channels in SAS drive bays with no problem during heavy reads and write. The JBOD part is important, because it has no battery backed cache to speed up its own RAID operations (of which it is capable, but then it will be quite a bit slower) These work really well at a very nice price for making high-density storage for the home user. Make sure to read all the documentation so you are using it correctly
