The slave feature is more trustworthy than wirelless triggers
I have had a few shoots suffer from non-responsive wireless triggers, There really seems to be little one can do, except repeat the shots and hope the flash accepts the command. When you adjust the camera to compensate, then the wireless trigger goes off and ruins the shot. These have a reliable slave mode that I am inclined to use instead of fooling around with the cheaper wireless triggers. They are also light enough to use with the bulb holders with the umbrella attachment abd suspension booms..
