Quality Product
An extremely well made product. Requires a very minor amount of filing on the forward tangs to make it a 100% friction fit. The recommended method of using the 4 retaining set screws to add stiffness and stability is less than ideal as (in my case) it had a tendency to stretch the cover open a few microns enough to make the bolt head jam. Resolution is to drill into the receiver and clamp the cover to the receiver. I used small shims in between the receiver cover and the receiver to minimize the clearance between the two metal parts. This makes the Leapers rail and clamped fit as opposed to a friction fit (which can move). I have mounted a UTG 1x red dot sight and a TruGlo 2x red dot sight. The clamped Leapers rail holds their zero. With this change in fitting method, the rail is extremely stiff and rugged. And yes, I can use the center of the rail as a rear sight to the front sight. Over 400 rounds each have been fired using the UTG and TruGlo red dot sights. Yes, both hold their zero. This product works.
