great bright & tiny & sharp vga projector, just don't use it's usb displaylink
Was a pricey model a decade ago when it was unusually small, bright & sharp. Now it's a bargain. It's only weakness: it contains an early version of displaylink that's worse than useless as that it installs drivers that don't work and reduce the usability of windows. So, just use the VGA port or use a modern displaylink dongle and enjoy.

nicely made in slightly different color; you'll need to reuse original lamp socket
it's a brand-new and freshly manufactured replacement by someone other than vw. The color is a bit different from the original, so you might want to replace them as a pair. The OEM lamp has two filaments, and the socket provided is intended for a single filament lamp. Fortunately, the OEM socket snaps in just fine.
