Difficult install for the average person

So far this product has been good. After a short learning curve and an update to MobileLink, it is up and running smoothly. The GPS is a little slow to keep up, but that may be antenna placement. If you install into a Ford or Mercury product it will require additional install kit to include Double Din bracket and wiring harness to avoid cutting up the original. If you are looking for instructions for the install, don't ... there are none. Basically wire for wire ... fairly simple for a DIY person. Bluetooth phone hookup is simple and works great for hand-free calls. I still need to figure out the steering wheel control wiring and programming. There are many good features on this unit and it will take some time to fine tune using it on a daily basis, but so far it looks promising. More information for installation and a simpler layout would make this product much better.
