Recommended with reservations
This is really an Art Nouveau themed coloring book. Useful as an exemplary lesson for the young, limited value for those who wish to use it to delve further or want to use it professionally. I was somewhat disappointed. I have many Dover books to use in my design work, and I value them for their intended purpose. This has some, but very limited value for an artist or designer.

Somewhat disappointing.
I am an artist who is always looking for inspiration. I have used many Dover books for reference. I found this one to be a weak entry in the "dragon category". It was a very small book, it's representations were somewhat repetitive, and there just isn't that much here for me to use. It was pretty inexpensive, so it'difficult to be too hard on it. Maybe I got my money's worth. I'm "meh" on it. There are many other great Dover books that I find a much better value. Don't give up on Dover, for the most part they have a lot to offer.

Very well done
I have read several books on the subject of creativity. A friend of mine who teaches classes on creativity recommended this book as one of the best that she had read. Now we can both recommend it.
