Submarine Type VII C/41 1:144 Revell Model Kit

Not what I was expecting from Revell

Compared to other submarines of this scale by other manufacturers, this is the most flimsy. It arrived in a sealed box and both halves of the hull had stress breaks. They are are much much much thinner than the hull of Trumpeters GATO. It actually had to be repaired out of the box before I could work in it. That was just for starters. There are several seams that need serious putty work to close gaps in the mold. I also bought the Revell's 1/72 GATO and it's great. Of course there is $130 price difference.
