Standard Deviants entertaining, but long-winded
I always look for Standard Deviant videos for lesson planning in Business Education when I want to add a little punch to a lecture. This title seems to be geared a little bit more towards college students than high school, but will still offer a lot of valuable information for high school students. It was originally produced in 1998, with a revision in 2002 (not sure what the revision entailed). It does seem a little dated, and the resume writing and interviewing sections each run about an hour. I did fast-forward through some parts, so I cannot give exact times for each section. There is a way to look at the sections by chapter, and there are some quick little add-ons at the end that can be viewed individually. I have viewed some of the newer Standard Deviant shows and find them more polished and broken into to shorter segments, with a better grasp of adding humor to entertain and teach at the same time.
Overall, I find the video helpful, but I will not be showing either section in it's entirety because of the length. Just as I believe any good movie can be shown in less than 2 hours, I also think a good instructional tape, meant to be used in a classroom, should include 15 minute or less segments.

Easy simple float for people who like to be in the water a lot!
Perfect happy hour floats! We get these out at the lake and float in the water with our neighbors at the end of the day, drinks in hand. It's like you're sitting in the water. Easy to get into and easy to stay in. When you're using it, the float remains entirely underwater so it looks like everyone is just bobbing in the water. Great fun.
