Although being a previously owned invert...
Although being a previously owned inverter, it still works nicely. I observed its output waveform on an oscilloscope both at zero load and 100W load, and it appeared very sinusoidal. I detected a little RF hash primarily on the ham 20 meter band but it was hard to quantify in my noisy environment.

Simple design maintains connector alignment
I replaced a 9.5 mm hard drive (HDD) in my laptop with a 7.0 mm solid state drive (SSD). This adapter, although simple in design, works very well at keeping the thinner drive aligned while inserting it into the laptop. Without the adapter, the SSD tended to droop, causing misalignment of its electrical connector with its mate (not good). The cutaway opening, unlike a solid plate, doesn't impede heat dissipation. Installation was simple. The double-sided tape adhered it firmly.

Substitute for Fairchild KA3846
This TI UC3846N chip worked well as a drop-in replacement for a Fairchild KA3846 chip in an existing Parallax 7155 power converter (12V switched-mode power supply).
