Did not work

After going to the trouble of removing the old one ,and replacing it with the one sent that was said to fit my 20 hp kohler magnum. It did not work,it would not supply gas to the motor. Therefore I cleaned the old one ,and reinstalled it .Should have just done that in the first place.
