Item is fine. Ports one and two are slightly damaged although port one still works. (Can’t fit anything into port two.) This is visible in the image that the seller listed, but I didn’t notice it when I was looking at the item, and it would’ve been nice to call attention to it in the written description. It doesn’t really matter because I don’t need all of the ports on this anyway, and it was super cheap. The mounting ears was worked well.

Pharos Science PDR135 Automotive GPS Receiver
Today I'll be spouting about the Pharos Science PDR135 Automotive GPS Receiver. I got mine used on eBay for a very low price and it came with all the accessories including the box as new. Being an older unit I was content with some street names being the old style, however it showed our street as Cove as it should rather than Place where even the most popular PC mapping programs had this anomaly. It catches the satellites VERY fast and moves along with you quickly and changing to new maps at an instant. These are typical with vehicle GPS units and it does play MP3 and show photo files just like most others. Why I like it is it locked onto the sats even deep in the house and displayed at least 5 of them. The maps have to be loaded to use so after resetting to factory default all the maps you want to use have to be reintroduced into the system from the SD card but when they are this unit locks on and sets a route quickly and precisely with voice guidance as well. I like the unit and for the price...I REALLY like it. Also the Pharos website is very helpful and updates and maps are available. Mine even has Europe maps which may come in handy next year. If you can find one and need a great vehicle GPS unit, this would be an excellent choice.

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro for Nikon AF
I just got this lens from 47th St. Photo on Ebay and I am thoroughly impressed! A new $90 lens that performs as well as the high priced ones when it comes to sharpness and color. I have a Nikkor 75-300 and this lens has a couple superior points if you can believe that. The sharpness is equal to or better at some focal lengths, the color is clear and precise, and the hand hold ability is great because of the light weight unlike the Nikkor that is nearly 4 lbs. I didn't get the softness of Pop Photos review pics and with a flash the sharpness is gratifying. Alas, no tripod mounting hardware and the material used is definitely a bit lesser quality (aluminum or plastic?) but, it's $90 (delivered) and has a metal lens mount! The macro in this focal length of any manufacturer is astounding as you don't have to wipe the subject off the front of the lens by getting too close with short focal lengths. of course the magnification is not that of a straight macro and I would suggest one in the 100mm range if you want a dedicated macro lens. The macro on the Sigma is only usable and active between 200-300mm and there is a switch that needs to be pressed, but who's complaining. Look for my Sigma 18-50 and 50-200mm reviews and you'll see just about the same rave.

2302216 RADIOSHACK "AAAA" ALKALINE BATTERIES Exp 12/19
Received quickly and they work fine for the Fujitsu Q550 pen that I got them for. Bought the lot so I can have extras and maybe sell a couple packs.
