Solid.
Seriously, this is way too much quality for a molded lump of plastic that has one single purpose in life. For $7 I'm impressed!

Surprisingly good
This is just a cheap little thing from china, I picked up as a project to do with my boy. It requires ALL of the assembly yet the graphic instructions are clear, despite being written in Chinese. It goes together easily and makes an excellent project for a beginner. A soldering iron is good to have, but a glue gun will suffice in a pinch.
A note on wiring: be sure that your power (red) wire goes to the switch, and then from the switch, to the motor. The instructions do not show the wiring arrangement, so if this is your first electronic project, this is where your mistake will be made.
Overall, I highly recommend this as an educational toy without much expense. Basic tools, such as small screwdrivers, soldering iron, etc. Are important to have, and they can all be purchased for under $10.

Great place holder
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're like me, then you're probably on a budget with every ar build. This carry handle helps lower initial costs dramatically.
It is not top quality by any means. It is poorly machined, such that I thought my front sight post was put on wrong until I took a good look at the carry handle. It is nothing if not a little wonky. I was able to get a basic zero, but not until I had windage cranked almost all the way to the right.
Despite these failings I think the carry handle is a fine place holder until I have a few hundred bucks for a proper mbus and optic. Looks good when showing it off for friends and it allows you to go out to the range and throw some lead.
