Good Product
This Fender Extender is easy to mount and holds well. In addition I put a bead of epoxy at the inside top edge of the Fender Extender for additional security, so no dirt and water could enter between the surface of the front fender and the Fender Extender. It will fit the 1200GS with the original skid plate under the engine. however I have the big skid plate from BMW mounted and there is an interference when mounting the Fender Extender. I had to slightly bend the big skid plate at the front of the engine where it points up. I just had to bend it about 1/4 of an inch and now it fits very nicely and looks like it should be like this.
