Work fine in lamppost
Work fine - I use them in the lamppost in front of my house which has a 12VAC feed that used to light 1156 incandescent backup light bulbs, but the LEDs last a lot longer, maybe a year and a half before I start to see some of the individual LEDs start to fail.

Caveat when using with HP Pavillion 22bw monitor
The splitter works perfectly IF and only IF the HDMI cable to my HP Pavillion 22bw monitor is only PARTIALLY inserted into the splitter's output. If I insert it far enough to light the green led, then all output (video to the monitor and audio to an amplifier) ceases. For some reason the HDMI cable must be plugged in slightly less than all the way. In that state, and without the green LED being lit, the splitter works perfectly. Go figure.
