Fading into the distance but still good
3 of 3 found this helpful I have had one of these for the last 8 years. Apart from the idiosyncratic Blackberry software and slow startup time it is still a pleasure to use for emails and films photographs and Notes/eBook reading. Screen quality is excellent and although mine is only 16GB memory, the ability to move films in and out easily without being hostage to makers software (you know who I mean) makes owning one a real pleasure.

Oldies rarely goodies
0 of 1 found this helpful These cameras are getting on now. They must be at least 8 years old. They have probably spent the last 5 years stuck in a draw or the bottom of a cupboard unused. They will probably have a defective function due to lack of use, usually a connector not connecting electrically. Automatic lens covers jamming, flash capacitors failing.
But if you have a good one in regular daily/weekly use then they are one of the best, most versatile and easy to use cameras ever. Convenient size, good quality lens and view screen as big as it needs to be. Sony could do worse than re-vamp this model for the present day.
