Wein cell batteries got my 1970s camera functioning again.
1 of 1 found this helpful I am pleased to have found the Wien cell replacement for the, now discontinued, mercury batteries used by my 1970s Canonet 28 film camera. I am glad that having got my camera working again that I can get the batteries to allow me to use it fully.

Replacement for now obsolete mercury batteries.
This is an excellent replacement for the, now unavailable, mercury batteries, previously used in my 1970’s film camera. The batteries are the correct voltage for optimum functioning of the light metre and last about 6 months with fairly frequent usage. They are inexpensive to replace.
