Playable! not a toy.
The Easy Rider Key of "G" harmonica plays very well for the price. This one was Key of "G" which is a little LOWER in tone than one that plays in key of "C". These play OK and they are low priced enough that I give them away to encourage kids and adults to make music. Key of "C" would be preferable if you have a choice though. They play and sound good without TOO much air needed.... as other low priced harmonicas often need. These are excellent to learn on. How to bend notes. How to hold the harmonica.... how to take care of it & clean it. THEN... when you learn the basics and find out you LIKE it... you could move up to a Key of "C" or other brand more professional instrument. .

The Indian Tipi---by Reginald Laubin, Second editionl
Very good book about how various tribes built and lived in tipi's.
The book has lots of line drawings, B/W photo's,and 16 pages of color pictures.
It is very interesting to read about how the indians survived in them.. and the pictures they painted on them and their meanings. For example page 238 describes"...The chiefs tipi might NOT be the nicest one in the camp... and might in fact might be one of the poorest! Because the chief is regarded as the father of the tribe and is often called upon to help those in need."
If you find such facts as that interesting, you too will like the book. I'm not sure what the 2nd edition has that the 1st edition doesn't, but I suspect it is the 16 color pages of pictures and a "history of the tipi" by Stanley Vestal.

success for dummies
I wouldn't normally look at "dummies" books but THIS ONE is
written by Zig Ziglar!(A world famous motivational speaker)
Dont expect a book on "How to get rich"
from Zig Ziglar... he's a Christian, and knows SUCCESS means
a lot more than money alone. I especially like zig's little
stories that illustrate his points. He doesn't get preachy at
all. He focuses on MOTIVES and GOALS and RELATIONSHIPS. I looked
in the INDEX of this book and the subject of MONEY isnt even
discussed except to say "see financial security!" This book is
going on my "most treasured" bookshelf and it is worth ten times
more than you will pay for it on ebay.
