Shalom U-Verakhah- A Hebrew primer
A good Hebrew primer for children who've already had a good introduction to the alef bet and vowels but aren't ready yet to move on to reading Hebrew. The lessons start with a focus on a word that could be found in a siddur or synagogue. And focuses on the letters in that word. There is plenty of practice, from the first lesson, on sounding out letter and vowel combinations as well as words. The font used is easy to read, so that children aren't struggling to differentiate between letters such as nun and gimmel. There are sections in each lesson on writing letters and on how the vocabulary word for the lesson relates to daily living. The lessons have color, but aren't overly distracting with color. The book includes an appendix on special rules for pronunciation and some brachot readings. The book includes some vocabulary but not a lot of vocabulary words are introduced; the main focus is on becoming able to read Hebrew fluently. A good second year primer.

Great chemistry manipulatives/teaching tools
These models of atoms are useful in teaching chemistry concepts. I've used them with elementary students and have now added more to my collection for teaching middle schoolers. These would be useful with high school students as well.
I'm using them with my own homeschooled child and will use them in future with some other homeschooled students, but the product could be used by a classroom general science or chemistry teacher.

My Weekly Sidra--a workbook for young children
This is a book geared to small children who are old enough to read and write, perhaps first through third grade. The book has a lesson for every sidra, or parsha, in the Torah (first five books of the Bible).
Each lesson starts with the name of the portion in transliterated English and in Hebrew (without the vowels). It gives a simplified summary of the portion in English that the child can read. A quotation, from a verse in the covered portion, is listed along with a question to discuss. There is a place for the child to write a comment on the portion. Each sidra has a page to color or an activity for the child to do.
It is a nice way to introduce young children to the weekly Torah readings at a level that a young child can understand.
