Deceptively Good
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this pedal with the intention of modding it with a popular kit.... but it sounds very nice the way it is, and I'll probably use it as-is in my pedal rig. Surprisingly gritty and adds pleasant tone without compromising dynamics/response. Can provide an authentic 'rolled back' volume knob sound. An excellent complement (and contrast) to a modded, heavier DS-1 or Rat II. I installed a yellow LED to match the blue/yellow motif.

Works for Blues Deville 2x12
Amp stand is study and constructed well. Works great with my blues deville 2x12 and Roland Jazz Chorus 2x12. Tilt-back angle is so slight that it does not put any stress on lower board in back of amp, as reported for amp stands with more pronounced tilt angle. Recommended for bulkier combo amps.
