Replaced a Digitax speaker
What a huge difference! I replaced the speaker that came with my Digitrax SDN144K1E N Sound Decoder that I have in a Kato GE ES44AC. Could barely hear it before and was kinda scratchy sounding in the low end bass. I tried turning up the volume but all that did was overload the decoder. I replaced the speaker with this Soundtrax mini cube 3 and Iβm very impressed with the better sound quality and low end is smooooth! Plenty loud. Just came back for couple more so I can replace all my other speakers. If you want better sound from your existing decoders without buying a new high dollar one then I highly recommend.

Nice set but the Surfliner blue color is...
Nice set but the Surfliner blue color is not accurate at all more purple then the actual blue of Amtrak Surfliners. Kato seems to fail quite a bit at color matching like there first run of p42 was way off.
