A good balance in 2012 for those that want a brand name without high price.
I've been using iPhones since they first came out and I bought this Xperia to fill a gap. iPhones have to use iTunes to manage everything and I wanted a smartphone that would allow me to transfer songs and movies at will. The Xperia fit this bill.
I've tried HTC Incredible and HTC Desire. I really like the Desire for design and build but it really had too little internal storage. On the opposite side, the Xperia is somewhat "cheaper" feeling in build and design, but has better internal specs.
As i bought this new two years after it was released I knew that I could do better, but the price and capabilities are a good balance in 2012.

Decent...if it worked.
The product was received with thermal paste covering the CPU pins from testing before shipping, rendering the MB non-functional.
