A wonderful tool for quickly washing rice. No more hand-washing!
Makes washing rice very easy, which tends to be a bit of a chore to hand wash, normally. Washing rice is faster and the washed rice tends to be cleaner (in my opinion) after using this. Keep in mind that this requires either A) A zojirushi-brand rice cooker, so that it will fit in the interior bowl it comes with or B) any other deep bowl that can fit it snugly. It has a series of rubber pads on the interior surface, which need to be able to sit tightly on the rim of whatever bowl you're using to wash the rice.
If you don't have a bowl available, take the thing with you to a Bed Bath and Beyond or other store and experiment with mixing bowls, which tend to be large enough and deep enough.
I love this product. I wish I'd found it or one like it years ago.
