Asterix 34 Books + Tintin 23 Graphic Books - Brand New Collection -Big Size PBs
May 18, 2016
Good for young and old alike
I loved the Asterix & Obelix series and the Tin Tin series as a child and as an adult. My daughter and her boyfriend seniors in high school are really enjoying these books too. The paperbacks are easier to read for most. These comics are classics beyond your typical comics and have entertaining stories. Having the complete set is wonderful.
MICROSOFT SURFACE BOOK 2 HNL-00001 INTEL i7-8650U 1.9Ghz 16GB RAM 512GB SSD LOOK

Exactly what I was looking for!
My wife has an original Microsoft Surface Book which works very well for her as a laptop. However, I needed to replace an 8+ year old HP EliteBook 6930p desktop docked laptop. This mainly to run the current version of VMware Workstation Pro on Windows 10 Pro. The VMware installer popup informed me that it could install on my old HP laptop but that virtual machines may not actually run with its ancient Intel processor. So the specs for this Microsoft Surface Book 2 appealed, with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD (I would have preferred the 1GB) version. Still this new system was uniquely affordable, in that it had been substantially damaged. Significantly "bent" (the screen and base are actually bent) in luggage during travel by the previous owner. That being said, whilst the base and tablet were bent the system still functions completely normally. It fits my purpose as a docked laptop and as such is a testament to the durability and usability of the Microsoft Surface Book 2. This despite its "bent" and likely unwarrantable condition. The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is quiet, fast and works great with a Microsoft Surface Dock and an external Lenovo monitor connected via the Surface dock and an Apple mini display port to DVI cable. It is being used with a 102W Microsoft Surface power supply. This Surface Book 2 will also work undocked and in tablet only mode too (without the base). I also have the latest Microsoft Surface pen to use with it, just in case. As stated, my primary use, is for the Microsoft Surface Book 2 to be a docked desktop laptop, which it is doing perfectly. As great as it is as a docked desktop, this system would also be ideal as a power users mobile Windows 10 laptop and competes as well or better than similar offerings in the market. One caveat for the Microsoft Surface Book 2 and its Surface Book predecessor, is that the SSD storage and system memory (RAM) are fixed model specific configurations and unfortunately not designed to be upgradable. Apart from that there's no real reason for me to not like the Microsoft Surface Book 2, except for the normally high price or unless you like the features, functions or price of another laptop better.

Solid business class notebook
Dockable in HP's advanced business docking station, allowing for multiple external monitors, charging and access to additional hard drives or optical media drives. Solid feel, excellent performance, RAM expandable to 8GB, dual core, modular hard drives, express card slot etc. Video graphics chip and limited display capabilities are the biggest issue with this otherwise excellent notebook. This issue alone causes major headaches when trying to maximize external monitor display capability and provides disappointing internal resolution options. I'd love to see a quad core version in the HP Elitebook series with expandability of RAM to 16GB or 32GB, a Blue Ray Lightscribe CD/DVD option and the largest available Intel based SSD hard drive options. Again, a new graphics chip with greater graphics display capability is a must. I used this model previously and specifically needed the same type of system and configuration.
