Excellent Filter. Good Value.

I started buying these online to replace the MERV 8 filters that were originally being used in my home furnace. It seems to be a bit of an odd size so most local places that I checked did not have this size in stock. I did find one local place that did have this size in a MERV 8, but After finding these MERV 13 filters for a much lower cost (including shipping), I exclusively buy these filters. They feel more sturdy than the old ones, and seem to give of a very faint, yet sweet, almost coconuty smell the first couple days after you put them in. I absolutely love these filters

Surprisingly good quality

Nigel’s adapters are really skookum. I was surprised by the quality and finish. I opted for the 10awg option even though it was for a low amperage project just in case I use them for something else down the road. The only thing I would do differently would be to use something like superworm wire. The existing wire is just fine, a very reasonable stiffness for 10 gauge, but more flex would make a super product even better. My project was running a 19.5v Dell laptop directly from an 18v battery. The increased efficiency from eliminating the 18v Ryobi inverter is significant. I get the same life from a 3Ah battery connected direct as I would running a 4Ah battery with an inverted. The saved weight and size makes this an amazingly portable auxiliary power source.
