Panasonic PT-AE900U LCD Projector bargain
This unit performs brilliantly for around £300 used.
Its a model which is a couple of years old so is slightly larger than the newest crop and its black depths aren't as impressive as some new models, although they cost more than twice as much new.
Panasonic build quality is as impressive as ever and its fans are as near silent as i have seen.
Lens shift is also a great feature which new "cheap" 720p projectors do without.
The picture is infinitely tweakable but isn't bad straight out of the box.
Buy one with low hours (the bulb last up to 4000 hours!!!) instead of a cheap xga projector and you won't be dissapointed.
+ The remote is comprehensive and backlit - SOLD!

Bright and well built
Brightness per watt is high. Build quality is great with good heatsink.
It is quite heavy though.

original ipod still does an incredible job
1 of 1 found this helpful i bought a knocked about early ipod for about £20 then put a new battery in it for another £3-4.
Its now perfect, the sound quality rivals the newer models and if all you want to do is listen to music then it is perfect.
I have it as a second ipod. This one lives in my cars glovebox most of the time, just banging out the tunes via its dock connector.
It never misses a beat.
Also, because it isn't a brand new model, everything works with it!
Get a second ipod and don't worry about using more liberally - its great
