This unit may not have been new in unopened box
The Mr. Coffee brewer in general has a good reputation is a reliable appliance. This particular item looks like the box had been opened and re-taped. I found that the filter basket lid is broken at the hinge. It works as designed but I sometimes need to re-attach the lid before using the coffee maker.
