Great pedal for the money
This pedal sounds great and with the extra internal adjustability it offers you can definitely find a sound you like. The build quality exceeded my expectations the only slight negative would be a little bit of noise when switched on but it's not enough to matter to my ears at least.

Helpful but repetitious
The book is well put together with step by step instruction if you should need it. I find most of the patterns to be a little repetitive. It just seems that most of the patterns are very similar in that a good majority of them are using the same materials. I would have to say that Vince Wilcox is obviously hooked on using micro tubing as a good majority of the patterns in this book use it. However, the book is helpful at giving you a look at some new innovative patterns, some based off of classic patterns, and providing you with some goods tips along the way that can help you to not only improve your fly tying but encourage you substitute materials in place of those in classic patterns. Overall it is worth purchasing if your interested in trying some new patterns that are effective.
