know the product
this product dries with a white residue which must be removed with a clean cloth for best results. If this aspect bothers you I wouldnt buy the stuff. Otherwise as with any Hoppes product it works as advertised.

8 of 8 found this helpful this works in the sense that it firms up nicely and is durable. My experience is don't bother trying to use the texture tabs... they have no visible cosmetic effect and slow the drying process. I doubt color matching is easy either but that was no issue for me since I was repairing black vinyl. It will stop further tearing and deterioration.. take your time and smooth the product on with an attention to detail and you should be satisfied with the result.
