Awesome recipes for Teen Chefs and everyone else
This is a great book for any age, but especially for teens. Combining nutrition, great taste and visual appeal, Rozanne Gold has created a book that everyone will want to cook from. Her recipes are straight forward and include suggested alternatives to various items like peppers or spices that do not dramatically alter the results. This is an engaging book with excellent recipes.

The Family that took over the Ruling Houses of Europe
This book is about the relationship of Queen Victoria and her eldest daughter. The relationship is preserved in letters. The contents of the letters are annotated and augmented by photographs and contemporary writing. It is a very complex story that illustrates Queen Victoria's relationship with the ruling houses of Europe through intermarriage and family ties. The relationships that were cemented during Victoria's lifetime are stil with us today. The Empress Frederick was the mother of Queen Sofia of Greece who was Prince Phillip's grandmother. The descendants of Victoria and Albert are still the prime ancestors of what is left of the ruling families of Europe today. Hanna Pakula documents everything beautifully. I so enjoyed this book!
