OK for Cost
1 of 1 found this helpful There are several different style and brands of this product. For what I wanted this was a fair value and workable product. I will not use it for travel, but carry it for ease of one person loading and unloading. Yes, when loading, as some have indicated, it can sway a little and it can be inconvenient to take on and off. But I have a cheaper hitch that I use to put in just for loading and unlading this bar and then use another hitch when I am ready for serious towing. But for giving me a shot at safely loading kayak and aluminum canoe alone without harming back or other muscles, it works just fine. Yes, as some reviewers have indicated, its a good idea to add a support extension or bungee to the top bar when swiveling the kayak/canoe around. If you want a travelling support, you will need to do a modification or look elsewhere. Bur for the price and loading assist, it works as I need. I went into this purchase with open eyes and go exactly what I expected.

So Far, Very Good
The batteries arrived in good shape and in good time. They took and held a charge well. I am very pleased at this time. If they last through the summer, I will be more than happy. I can't give a raving review until I know how long they will hold up. but my guess right now is that they should hold up well.
