6-48 tpi High Carbon Steel 3 PIECE Tap Set Hard to Find **

breaks easy

You get what you pay for. Ok for soft metals that don't need a lot of threads. Doesn't take much resistance to break the taps. You can see them start to twist as soon as they get a little tight. only three cutting edges, and they don't seem to be very sharp. Compared to a good 4 edged tap that cut like a hot knife through butter on the safe exact item, these are terrible. Drill bit was decent. Would not recommend.
