NVIDIA SHIELD TV 2017 4K HD Media Streamer + Extra Controller

The most Overrated AND Overpriced equipment on the face of the earth, today.

I purchased the nvidia Shield a year ago, since then it has crashed and lost my apps 3 times, where I had to reload them. Their recommendation of USB storage to use is too big to fit on the back of the unit. With the latest update (October 2017) everything is crashing, and as usual lost all my apps and had to restore and Sign in under each one, and lost saved games/points, etc... I have to literally "restart" (power down , will not work) in order to get Sling TV to work. Do yourself a favor before investing, go research online this new update and read all the negatives about it. You'll see they are all saying the same thing. I have a Roku Stick (1/4 of the cost) in the other room that functions way better than this, and only gave me trouble one time when setting up "network". When this nvidia shield TV dies, I'll definitely purchase something cheap like a Roku stick.

Where's my Rim Shots at?

meh... looks nice, however "Rim Shots" are horrible. You're lucky to get 1 out of 5 hits on the rim shot to work. Rubber around rim is wearing apart right at the rim shot landing point. The split seam is coming apart on the other end of rubber rim. Can't speak of the "positioning sensor" being my module doesn't support positioning sensing. It does look nice and responsive to normal "open hits", but for what it cost, I thought it would be a lot better.
