Not an Apple battery, and the trackpad barely works
Sorry, but this is not a genuine Apple battery. For a start, it's clearly an Apple battery case, with the usual writing on it (Designed by Apple, etc.). However, the cells are thicker than normal (12.14mm compared to 11.73mm), so much so that the operation of the trackpad is compromised - it hardly clicks, particularly around the middle to left. The manufacturer is SMP, not Apple, so again, not a genuine Apple battery.
It does appear to be new, however, with a manufacture date of 2018-10-29 and a cycle count of 1. I don't know how long a full charge lasts, since the laptop is barely useable with it installed due to the trackpad issue.
