Mandolin replacement nut made of bone!
Sounds nice, bright, reasonable price, works as expected!

These strings broke while I was trying to tune them.
These strings broke while I was trying to tune them. I probably went an octave too far, but the felt extremely loose, and then they snapped. I don't blame the seller. In general I've had excellent luck with Aquila Brand strings, on my Ukuleles. I think this may have been my mistake, next time I'll try another brand of nylon strings. The package should have said something about how nylgut should be tuned, Loosely I assume?

    Excellent strings!
I really like these strings. The package warned that the wound ones would wear out first, and they did. The higher sounding ones are still in use after a year. I replaced the wound strings with cheaper guitar strings, but the nylgut ones are hard to beat, and they last a long time.
