Didn't work out the box
1 of 1 found this helpful Installed as prescribed. Startup and gives error that ink cartridges aren't properly installed. No sign of any problem.

Garbage camera, useless app. Does not provide recording capability needed.

The camera is useless as far as I'm concerned if you can't easily view the motion detections and see what happened. There is no clear menu item to view recordings, or how much space you have, only a place buried in the menu for the "Push Notifications." Only there can you see the alarms. When you click on any alarm it goes straight to Live View. If you click the camera reel looking icon it seems to find the last recording you clicked... why so confusing? When you do view the recording the speaker is by default muted? Endless nonesense.
The alarm list is limited to I think a day or so. Why?! So you cannot see recordings beyond the alarm list even if your SD card is large enough to store them. I have a 64GB Sd card, there's no way it burned up. Also I have notifications set for low disk space but none went off. I have no indication at all that there even is an SD card inserted.
No way to download event recordings to your phone.
The delay over internet makes scanning and zooming a difficult task also, the camera has very poor control, it overshoots and moves too far too fast or too short.
Every time it switches night vision mode off it makes a loud click that is registered as a motion event.
So every day I get a motion alert on my phone multiple times with nothing. My camera ended up pointed at the ceiling and somehow was generating motion detections all day from nothing.
As far as Face tracking or audio alerts, none of those have worked. Frankly I'm a bit confused as to how to configure the device because the app is so poorly designed.
Microphone and audio quality are terrible.
There are so many cameras that work better than this without this hoaky UI and are actually useful in seeing motion recordings, I would look elsewhere.
